Growing up in Babinda, Carmen is excited to be able to bring her past 20 years of hospitality experience back to her hometown to share her love of food, wine and laughter with the community. 

She learnt to cook from a young age and her love and passion for food, cooking and her Italian upbringing spills over into her menus, and the way she cooks and presents her meals.

She has worked hard to bring a BEAUTIFUL Tavern with Sicilian features and flavours into the centre of Babinda.

At Babinda Taverna and Amore Ristorante you can expect to get a COLD beer; GREAT food; well stocked bottle shop and best of all, a very warm welcome from someone who welcomes her guests as her family. Her menu includes many Italian favourites with several signature dishes and it keeps her customers coming back for more.
